Journaling

       I was out shopping at one of my favourite stores yesterday (Homesense) and of course, I wandered up and down each and every aisle looking at the fabulous stuff. I then found myself in the aisle that is full of notecards....address books....and then...there it was...this totally cool, funky journal staring back at me from the shelf!! Now, this is something that I've been meaning to do for awhile, but I just never got around to actually looking for a journal to write in (o.k....so I kinda just forgot altogether) but now??? there were  NO-MORE-EXCUSES!!!!!!

       I grabbed that journal up and put in into my basket!! I felt really giddy and excited that I had finally found THE journal...the one that I was going to finally start writing in!!!!! I couldn't wait for bedtime to come...(though not sure why I feel the need to write a bedtime....) I wrote my little heart out that first night, from how my day was to still having those nagging maternal feelings that just won't go away!!!! And you know what? I actually wrote in it this morning before I got out of bed!! (our girlie was doing something really cute that reminded me of years past!)

        I am so thrilled that my little trip to my favourite place FINALLY got me to achieve my goal of starting a journal.....any of you bloggers keep a journal????  (though I guess blogging is a form of journaling!!)  This is one of my "small things" that I now plan on embracing....daily I hope!!!!
