Motherly advice????

     I could really use some "motherly" advice....like I've mentioned before, I have step-daughter whom I love like my own and whom I'm very close with. But something has been nagging at me lately....nothing serious..I was just thinking about all the stuff that I do for her (ie...making special treats for her class for the holidays..shopping..and recently, making b-day invitations, and decorating canvas bags for each girl to have). I've starting wondering if I'm infringing on "mom" territory??! Am I crossing the "line" and doing TO Much?? Her mom and I get along, but I don't want to seem like I'm one-upping her, so to speak, because that's not my intention at all!!! I just want to be a part of things as much as I can and want her to be happy!! so please, if you have any advice for me on this topic, please don't be shy....I just want to be sure that I'm not doing the wrong thing!!! Just had to get that out...it's been buzzing around my head for awhile!!
